KEVIN W. AYER, Ph.D., LT COL, USAF (Ret)

With over 40 years of experience, Kevin W. Ayer served in the United States Air Force for 20+ years before embarking on another 20+ year career as a Defense Contractor. He founded Transcent Consulting as a way to share his knowledge, experience, and expertise with the wider defense community.

Dr. Ayer is an experienced engineer/scientist with broad skills in aerospace, defense, systems engineering, product management - from concept to design through prototype, culminating in test

His business acumen focuses on effective, disciplined actions that gain momentum to move from “good-to-great” through executable strategies, effective development, and measurable implementation.

Dr. Ayer is effective working independently, as a team member, coach, mentor, and as a proven leader.

With the love of his life, Lynn, they have two children and six grandchildren.
